Angelle and Joe Licata
Wedding in Italy - the Lake District

Everything was absolutely wonderful. It has been such a whirlwind since Joe and I returned that I haven't been able to express my utter delight with the services. We were, undoubtedly, frightful about the idea of sending monies without anything more than a contract, but Joe convinced me that we should just trust Beatrice and he was right. Eloping to the Lakes was the perfect, fairy tale wedding for us.

The photographer and coordinator were complete professionals. Of course Filippa was just a doll. She was incredibly helpful once we arrived and made every effort to make our wedding magical. Beatrice is very fortunate to have her. The photographer is such an enthusiastic photographer and is so very creative and we're very pleased with the photos. Our family and friends absolutely love them, especially the black and white.

You were an absolute Godsend. I don't know what we would have done if you were not so kind to answer our many questions. Also, the maps you sent were so helpful. It was such a relief to find them in the package just when Joe was about to have a panic attack on the Milan autobahn. Next time we won't rely on a travel agent to do the booking!

Best regards, Angelle

Mr and Mrs Sarubbi
Honeymoon to ITALY

WHAT A WONDERFUL TRIP! You really did a fabulous job! Every part of the trip was wonderful…..we ate and drank way too much! Unbelievable food, drink, history, culture, etc. All I hear from Joseph now is, "Aren't you glad you married into this culture????"

ROME: The hotel was great and in a very good location. Borghese Gallery was my favorite. (Thank you for suggesting we get there when it opens at 9:30 a.m… by 11:00 a.m. the line was over one hour long to enter!) I love stone and marble and of course there is an abundance of this in all three cities.

FLORENCE: What history! Luca (our guide) was amazing!!! I thought I could talk a lot! He way surpasses me and his knowldege (and obvious love) of Florence was very impressive. Please pass along best regards to him and let his company know what a wonderful tour guide he was. Silvio was great as well. We saw part of the country that your typical tour does not show you. He was very knowledgeable and his love for Tuscany really came through. The cooking class was great! We had a blast with Max and Massimo….we cooked and drank together for 3 hours! They were a lot of fun.

VENICE: The hotel was fabulous…great location. And it is a beautiful city an dhas the best restaurant… Osteria al Bacco

I could go on…Everything was great. We had only great experiences and wonderful memories. Your company has surpassed our expectations and few companies would provide such personal attention. Joseph is even more proud to be of Italian descent (if that is possible) and Italy has become a country we truly fell in love with. Thank you for everything. You will be hearing from us again for future travels.

Ciao! Laura and Joseph

MIKE and TONYA TROBLES
TRIP TO ITALY

We are still "floating from out trip to Italy, but wanted to come down to earth long enough to thank you and Beatrice for a job well done! All of your accommodations, itineraries, planning, etc… was WONDERFUL! We had an incredible time, and it was so great to simply follow your instructions for a fabulous trip. The only time we "stumbled" was when we failed to follow your itinerary to the letter! Our hotels were each in great locaitons. We especially enjoyed our special dinner at Les Etoiles in Rome.

Our personal guide in Florence was terrific - what a perfect way to get acquainted with one of my new favorite cities. Venice was magical, and we had the city practically to ourselves on Christmas. Each suggestion you made, from walking itineraries, to sights, to restaurants was right on the money. I only wish I would have discovered your company sooner. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful - how refreshing it was not to worry about details, but simply follow your directions.

Brava! M & T

VICKI and CRAIG GIACOBBO
Wedding in Pienza, Tuscany

Hi Beatrice, Thought I'd send you a quick note thanking you for all you did for us and our wedding, everything was perfect!!

Craig & I really didn't know what to expect for our wedding day and I don't think either of us thought it would be as perfect as it was. The day went smoothly right from the start, Sylvio and James arrived at our farmhouse ahead of schedule because they did not know where we were staying and didn't want to be late.

Both of these gentlemen were wonderful and were nice enough to give us a little history lesson on the region during our drive to Pienza. Thanks to Sylvio our day was without confusion as he handled the paperwork and directed us smoothly throughout the day. James picked beautiful music for us and it was breathtaking to listen to him. These two men really complemented our already perfect day and we hope you continue to use these gentlemen for future weddings.

Pienza was so very charming, we all loved it. People were very friendly there, for example, we took our photos before the wedding outside in the piazza and people began to gather and started taking photos of us as well! On our way to Dal Falco people stopped us and congratulated us. It really was a wonderful town and we're very glad we chose it. Another great surprise was being married by the mayor. Our family kept asking us who was marrying us and we never knew what to tell them because we never even knew so it was a wonderful surprise when the mayor walked in the room.

Dal Falco was amazing. The atmosphere, service and food left a lasting memory for all of us, it was three hours of delicious food on a perfect day in the perfect town. Everyone raved about the restaurant and we are still talking about it to this day! San Gregorio was charming and very convenient as it was so close to Dal Falco. We completely enjoyed our stay there and would like to thank you for the beautiful flower arrangement. Speaking of flowers my bouquet was perfect like everything else, I only wish I could have dried it and taken it home with me for memory's sake.

Beatrice we can't thank you and your staff enough for making our day unique and stress free. Craig and I didn't experience the typical wedding stress that we hear about from others, it was literally a stress-free day and wedding as a whole. We had the time of ours lives and would love to recommend you to others wishing to marry in Italy. Our entire trip was fabulous, Tuscany is so beautiful!!

Thanks again!!! Vicki Giacobbo

Stefanie and Jim Abbott
French Riviera and Italian Riviera Honeymoon

We had a wonderful trip. The accomodations in each town were perfect. Exactly what we wanted. Everything ran very smoothly - renting the car was easy, the spa day was wonderful, and again, all the hotels were very nice. Our favorite was the Miramar in Santa Margherita - it had a lovely patio. Jeanny, the boat excursion guide was also very knowledgable and very friendly. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our honeymoo nand had a wonderful time. Thank you for your assistance in the planning.

Sincerely, Jim and Stefanie

Dr. and Mrs. CHARLES RAISON
Wedding in Amalfi Coast and Honeymoon to Provence, France

Dear Beatrice, Everything worked out great and we had the trip of a lifetime. You and your office did a fantastic job. Really, the whole experience was most remarkable. Our weddng was like a fantasy. Things unrolled perfectly. Le Agavi was great. La Caravella was fantastic. All limo arrangements were flawless. Flowers, etc… all went off without a hitch. Le Mas de Peint (Provence) is a treasure. We both loved it.

The place has a great romantic feeling, the staff was delightful, the food was great. Again, thanks for all your guidance. We're very impressed by your operation and wish you all future success, which judging from our experience, you're bound to achieve.

Chuck Raison.

ANN and SCOTT BACON
Honeymoon to Italy.

Italy is fabulous and the trip was wonderful! …..your company did a super super job! Our hotels were unbelievable - especially in San Gimignano and Venice. The people in Rome, at the hotel and restaurant you scheduled for us, were so helpful and wonderful. We met Liz and Mike Lambert all through out our trip - and they felt the same way we did - that your company did a wonderful job and made excellent recommendations. We'll send pictures when we get them developed, and please use us as reference for any future clients. Thank you, thank you! You will always be a big part of our honeymoon memories!

MIKE and COLLETTE BONAVITA
ITALY TOUR

We are back safe and sound and tired out. WE loved the trip. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience and we will be putting together a detailed feedback in the next few days. We thank you very much for this trip and we will probably be back in touch for future trips. Missing Italy already.

CATHERINE and LOUIS BLAND
3 week tour of Italy Sicily to North May 20, 1999

Dear Beatrice,

As promised, I thought you and Fabiana would appreciate hearing some of the highlights of our journey. So, grab a cup of that delicious coffee and join me. As Lou mentioned to you by phone, I could take up residence at the Villa Igea (Sicily). I've always wanted to live in a castle and our accommodations there were quite similar. The hotel staff was warm and gracious; the food was wonderful, especially the breads and sweets.

Our room (I believe, #109) was huge and elegantly furnished with antiques and oriental rugs; it seemed to take minutes to traverse the room, and the marble bathroom was also very spacious. What a wonderful welcome to Italy (thankfully, after that hair-raising taxi ride from Palermo's airport!). Rita, our personal guide, was prompt and very knowledgeable, as were all of your handpicked colleagues. She proposed a trip to Monreale, which sounded quite interesting, so we spent the morning viewing the magnificent mosaics in the Cathedral, and around the cloisters. We also saw the Palatine Chapel at the Palace and, for a totally different look, Palermo's huge Il Duomo.

Spent the evening in Mondello and had a great all-seafood dinner at Café Simpaty, recommended by the Villa Igea Concierge. On Monday, we headed over to Avis to pick up our car for the trip to Cefalu/Taormina. Once outside of the Palermo traffic zoo, we managed well and found Cefalu very inviting and someplace we'd like to return. Our arrival in Naples was smooth and, as we exited the terminal with bags in tow, we were especially grateful to find our driver, Antonio, waiting. Antonio was a very considerate person and cautious driver.

Between his broken English and our fractured Italian, we were able to communicate very well. We arrived at the BEAUTIFUL Santa Caterina by 10 a.m., and were shown to a beautifully appointed suite with a large private patio and walk-in closet. I definitely want to return to that hotel and THAT suite! The staff (from the front desk to the bus boys) was always helpful and quick in their response. No waiting for things here!

Everyone was anxious to please. Staying at the S. Caterina was the most restful and luxurious part of our trip; if the weather had been warm and sunny, we would have never seen anything but their dining room and our patio! We ventured out to Positano which, even in the rain, was a delightful place and another location where we'd like to spend more time (about a week on the Amalfi Coast would be great!). Took the bus to Sorrento, the boat to Capri and back to Amalfi on a semi-sunny day, which brought out the wonderful dimension of the cliffs, and allowed me to go nuts with the camera. We walked to the Villa Borghese for our early AM reservation.

The Bernini pieces (David and Apollo and Daphne) were particularly impressive and remain two of my favorites of the entire trip. Met Barbara and decided we'd benefit most from her expertise at the Vatican museum and St. Peter's which ended up filling our morning. We could have probably spent an entire week there and not seen everything; a bit overwhelming to say the least. We continued on to all the typical sites that afternoon and covered most everything on our agenda……Great dinner (pizza and antipasti) and service at Le Grotte.

Sabrina was a delightful guide and worked very hard at trying to relay the wealth of information and knowledge she has regarding art as we squeezed in the Uffizi and Bargello galleries in one morning. Rain plagued us in Florence, which didn't matter much in the museums, but didn't flatter the Boboli Gardens. So, we retreated to the "Rivoire" to experience "the richest hot chocolate in Italy" - d'accordo, we loved it! Best meal: Café Garga in Florence - expensive, but well worth it. Our luck returned and the weather cooperated for our day in the Tuscan countryside with the effervescent Silvio. After a brief look at Siena, Silvio had arranged for a private lunch with a real Tuscan farmer and his family. To say we were overwhelmed at the array of food and the hospitality of our hosts was an understatement - it was like being at a family gathering. We have a saying in our home, "food is love," and there was no shortage of food or wine in Guido's house! We probably ruined Silvio's afternoon itinerary by lingering over lunch, but managed to get to the sheep farm, and also stop by his 16th century palazzo for a coffee before heading to the Villa Branca winery for a special private dinner in their cellar.

As if that weren't enough to come running home to tell your friends, a Norwegian couple (friends of Silvio's) was renting a farmhouse on the vineyard and, it so happened, the husband was a retired opera singer. All of a sudden, while we were enjoying a special vintage of Vin Santo in the deep, dark labyrinth of the Villa Branca, we heard footsteps and then the sound of a pitch pipe and Olie's glorious tenor voice filled the cellar. I was so taken with this wonderful surprise that I can't even tell you what aria he was singing. All I knew (or thought) was that I had been transported to heaven. We even were lucky enough to hear Silvio and Olie perform a duet - the famous "Mamma." Newsflash: Silvio can sing, too! The entire day (we ended up spending 13 hours together) was something you'd read about in a novel. Silvo's enthusiasm for Tuscany, his unending supply of local contacts, and his genuine charm can cause normal Americans to re-evaluate their entire lives. I've never envisioned myself living in a rural setting…until Tuscany! It couldn't have been better, and we have you and Silvio to thank. The only possible reason to leave Tuscany was to attend the opera in Venice.

I'm sure if it weren't for that, our trip would have taken a detour! You were exactly correct in recommending the water taxi, not only for luggage management, but the "civil" arrival at the hotel's canal entrance. All for the bargain basement price of 90,000 Lire - well worth the investment. The Luna Baglioni was friendly and very efficient. In fact, it was their concierge who informed me that La Fenice had not reopened (in over 3 years). The performance was one of the most memorable we'd ever seen. Our seats were perfect, and the voices were magnificent despite the strange acoustics of a tent! Who cared??? We were humming the contagious melodies at every intermission, and throughout the balance of our trip. The Tuscan withdrawal symptoms had abated. Mrs. Sesani arrived at our hotel at precisely 11:00 a.m. the following morning. She led us through the wall-to-wall flesh at St. Mark's square, sharing Venetian anecdotes regarding the Palazzo Ducale and providing enough charm and elegance for the entire square! Soon we were on a quiet street tucked far away from the bustling crowd and in her beautiful home.

Although very proper at all times, she made us feel very comfortable and at home in the intimacy of her kitchen. I enjoyed listening to her philosophies on true Venetian cooking, her opinion of Tuscan cooking ("do you call Ribolitta cooking?") and, especially, the personal nature of the overall experience. We devoured the fruits of her labor over lunch and then, at her invitation, spent time visiting in her lovely salon. After speaking with Tamara, we decided to change direction and do a walking tour of Venice rather than Burano.

We both felt there was much to see right there and, now that we were used to cramming in two days worth of sightseeing in a single morning, we wanted to take full advantage of Tamara's vast knowledge of the city. We walked until our feet feel off and, although we didn't make every destination before closing, we made good use of our time together and even had time to do the "Doge's Secret Itineraries" (at Tamara's suggestion) that same day. Venice was a place totally separate from Italy, from the rest of the world, for that matter. It certainly has the charm and romance one expects, along with a lot more. We found our way to Garda without incident, and only took two wrong turns once we exited the autostrada. As we circumvented the town, we spotted the tower of the Grand Hotel and were very pleased with the beautiful setting, the hotel grounds and our balcony. Again, we spotted the gleaming crown of the Grand Hotel Des Illes Borromees from the top of the mountain and followed the road down to the sea. The reception and service at the Grand Borromees was warm and gracious. In fact, the food at both Garda and Stresa was among the best we experienced. Speaking of food, I couldn't have imagined the intensity of the flavors. We indulged in every location and made the most of the vacation excuse to avoid watching our diet.

The delicacy of the pastas, the creaminess of the cheeses (ours tastes like rubber bands now), the richness of the scrambled eggs, the silkiness of the coffee (especially at the Santa Caterina), and the downright decadence of the hot chocolate, breads and sweets are beyond description. All are fresh in our minds and continue to make our re-entry difficult. In sum, we have already decided that our next trip will definitely NOT be shorter in length (1 week in Sicily, 1 week in Amalfi, 1 week in Tuscany, and 2 weeks in the Lakes). Perhaps we should rent a villa for the summer and have an Italian homebase so train transfers are less difficult minus heavy luggage. Until then, we have a journal filled with memories, and hundreds of photos to provide the visual aid, all of which will be fun to visit from time to time. But nothing will ever erase from our minds the wonderful times, and even the challenges, that come with "la dolce vita" which we were fortunate to live for three weeks. Mille Grazie to you and your team for making our trip the experience of a lifetime.

Warmest regards, Caterina and Luigi

Mr and Mrs. Matthew Baldassano
Wedding in Veneto, Italy and Luxury Honeymoon in Italy and French Riviera

Hello Beatrice,

What can we say? Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The Wedding especially was incredible. Villa Luppis was even more beautiful than we ever could have imagined and the staff was so helpful. The food was some of the best that we enjoyed on the entire trip. Every single one of our guests have told us what a fantastic time they had from the wine (I think Villa Luppis is shipping at least six cases to the states) to every course that was served and there were plenty of courses! The DJ had everyone up dancing, doing the limbo and a Conga line that went on until 1:00 AM. Rome was everything we had expected and more.

The best part for us was the tour by Rita. When it comes to Roman and Catholic history she was oozing with fascinating information. The tour made the trip to Rome! Please pass along our sincere gratitude and compliments to both the staff at Villa Lupis and Rita. Hotels: Luna Baglioni and Regina Baglioni were perfect for our short stays in Venice and Rome. Santa Caterina- WOW! We are so glad that we ended up staying there instead of the Sirenuse. The manager upgraded our junior suite to a full suite and it was beautiful. The suite was similar to a mini apartment. Once again perfect for the amount of time that we stayed there (5 nights).

Excellent staff, food and total atmosphere. THIS WAS OUR FAVORITE! Hotel Martinez- perfect for Cannes. Helpful and courteous staff. In Cannnes we mostly ate out at quaint brasseries along the strip. Negresco was by far the most intriguing hotel that either of us had ever experienced. Both restaurants were a delight, especially Chanteclair where we enjoyed one of the best meals on the trip. Here also the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We did our day trip to Monte Carlo where we had our relaxing Spa day and a short tour of the city and then back to Nice. The helicopter ride from Nice to Cannes was excellent and was a great surprise for Irene.

THE WEDDING AND HONEYMOON WERE MAGICAL. WE WILL NEVER FORGET AND WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE TO YOU!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

Please feel free to use us as a reference to any potential customers.

SAL and NICOLE ARTINO
Honeymoon to England and France

Our honeymoon was great, you had everything planned out perfect! The comination of the city and country was wonderful. We had perfect weather the entire trip (not a drop of rain in England). By far the highlight of the trip was Eastwell Manor, the place is amazing! The Castle in the Loire Valley was excellent, but our favorite was Eastwell Manor. We were treated like royalty. In London and Paris the hotels you chose were in great locations. We were able to walk to almost everything. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and we will definitely recommend you to all of our friends. We could not have dreamed of a more wonderful honeymoon. Thanks again for all your help.

JIM LILLIO and PHYLLIS SOBOTIK
Wedding in UDINE, FRIULI (Italy)

We're home! We had a fabulous trip! Thank you so much for the greatest wedding that anyone could possibly imagine. Everything was perfect from the hotel, to the beautiful flowers, to the ceremony, the town, the castle and especially your staff. Chiara and Silvia were wonderful and so nice. They did a great job. My only regret is we did not get pictures of them. Mara the photographer and her assistant were a lot of fun and I think the pictures they too will be exceptional! Our lunch at Alle Volte was out of this world.

Claudio the owner was so nice and I thought the food would never stop. It is hard to describe how good it was. Phillis and I were so full we couldn't move. We spend the evening in Venezia in a gondola and at San Marco and returned to Udine at about 2:30 a.m. We can't thank you enough for everything you did for us. It was 1st class all the way! The organization and agenda were perfect. Everything went so smooth. I also want to thank you for suggesting Udine. It was so beautiful and everyone made us feel very special.

Again, thank you both so much! Jim and Phyllis

SHANANN and MIKE ZINGER
Wedding in LUCCA - Tuscany

First off, I wish to thank everyone at THE WOMEN'S TRAVE COMPANY who had a handin making our wedding dreams come true! The paperwork went smoothly, our wedding coordinator Marcella was charming and very helpful, the flowers were beautiful and I could not have asked for more perfect photographs. The Palazzo Orsetti was a beautiful and elegant setting for our wedding much as Beatrice had described.

Villa Rinascimento made an exquisite backdrop for many of our photos and the photographer captured wonderful spontaneous moments which we wil not, never forget. In the seven days we were in Lucca we found the people to be very warm and personable and we enjoyed exploring the city walls, narrow streets and the breathtaking countryside. We will forever have wonderful memories of our special day. Thank you for everything you've done for us. We hope to return to Italy some day - perhaps our paths will cross again.

Best regards - Mike and Shannan Zinger

THOMAS and RHONDA CLINTON
Wedding in Pienza, Tuscany

We had a fantastic time in Italy and our wedding day was extra special. Pienza was such a beautiful town, and the people were so warm and friendly. Actually we visited San Gimignano the day before and found it to be too touristy, so we were pleased that we couldn't schedule that location. Our meal was wonderful also. Thanks for helping us to make our day memorable. By the way, we are making our plans for a 10th of maybe 5th anniversay in Pienza and the beautiful Tuscany countryside. Can't wait!

Tom and Rhonda

BRIDGET and MARTINE KRUSE
Wedding near Venice at a romantic 17th century villa and church

Just got back late last night. Wanted to thak you and your staff for arranging everything for us. Our wedding was wonderful; everything I could have hoped for and even more, and the honeymoon was great, we especially loved Positano!

All of our gests along with Martin and I were very impressed wth Villa Luppis and the menu (the food was excellent it was a shame that we could not eat everything). Everyone was commenting on how elegant and romantic our wedding and reception was. The musician was a great added touch - we loved the music. … we will always have our memories of a romantic fairytale wedding. I would highly recommend you and your company to anyone who would be interested. Thank you again for helping us have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon.

Sincerely, Bridget and Martin

FLORENCE and KEITH OTT
WEDDING IN VENICE

We would like to convey to you and your staff our warmest thanks! Our wedding in Venice was absolutely wonderful and unforgettable! Everything went perfect (even down to the last detail)! Tamara did an excellent job!

We are sure that you are glad to have her on your staff! The flowers were beautiful and the Palazzo Cavalli was everything you said it was - (elegant). Afterwards, we took pictures in San Marco and the Luna Baglioni! It was fantastic! Also, we went for a once-in-a-lifetime gondola ride! And, the manager of the Luna Baglioni sent us a bottle of Prosecco!

Finally, the Antico Martini was out of this world! What a wonderful end to the most beautiful day of our lives! As for the rest of our trip, it was outstanding! We loved Sorrento, Capri, and Roma! We are already wishing for a speedy return to Italy. We hope that you and your staff are doing well and that all had a wonderful Easter. Again thank you so much for your wonderful (and expert) arrangements! We will keep in touch! With warmest regards,

Florence and Keith Ott

LISA and ERIC LARSEN
Wedding on LAKE ORTA

Reluctantly, I am back to work. I can't even begin to explain what a wonderful trip we had! The weather in Chamonix was absolutely perfect even though we did not get any snow while we were there. But Eric and I both agreed that Italy was by far the best part of our trip.

Not only because we were married there but the people, food and wine were far superior to our experiences in France. Beatrice, I can't express how pleased we were with all of our accommodations and contacts in Orta. Everything was even better than I could have imagined. I wanted a very simple wedding to remember and it was certainly that. Our wedding dinner was superb!! Eric (who I must admit was cynical right up to the last minute) is already talking about when we'll go back.

Much gratitude to you and Fabiana. Lisa and Eric

KEN JACOBS and MARGARETH LASECKE
Honeymoon to France, Loire Valley, Lake Como and London

Margaret and I have been so busy since we returned that we haven't had time to send you a note telling you how wonderful our honeymoon was! There is only one word for this honeymoon: PERFECT! You did a fantastic job identifying places for us to go, things to see, accommodations, dining, etc… You met our needs and wishes precisely!

In France, the Domain des Hauts was a lovely place to stay, and the food was terriffic. It was, as you said, a perfectly located for our exploration of the Chateaux. The arrangments we made for the chauffeur were perfect and we saw exactly the right chateaux and gardens. Each of Chambord, Cheverney and Blois had their own distinct character. It was great having a car and driving outselves around the second day and the gardens at Villandry knocked our socks off. And ending at Chenenceau capped it all off with the most spectacular of all the chateaux.

You were wise not to over-schedule us for the third day in the Loire, as we were able to make an unplanned excursion by TGV to Paris to shop. We lucked out on the balloon ride too, since the early morning flight was scrubbed due to fog. After, we returned from Paris, we did the late afternoon flight over the Loire River and Chenenceau and it was AWESOME! Lake Como was everything we expected and more…what a beautiful plae!

We enjoyed our room at the Villa D'Este very much indeed. We were both certainly very charmed by Silvio our water taxi driver and Edoardo our chaufferu for the second day. Bellagio and the villas and gardens were lovely. The flight to London from Milan worked out just fine, though we were a little late for dinner at the Hempel (no problem there tho!). The Hempel…what an INTERESTING hotel. We're definitely glad we stayed there (and ate the first night's dinner there). The décor was truly unique! We ended up finding a great French restaurant in the theatre district: L'Escargot - probably the best meal of the trip! Ending with Les Miserables was quite the topper to a great trip. So you can see we had a FANTASTIC TRIP!.

We have already decided that for our tenth anniversaty we'll be back! You can expect us to contact you if we have the occasion to take a similar trip either ten years hence or sooner! We will of course recommend your services to anyone interested in a customized vacation to Eruope. Nothing could have made this trip better other than making it longer! Thanks for all your help throughout the process of planning the trip and arranging it all for us. You definitely made our honeymoon the vacation of a lifetime!

Take care and thanks again, KEN JACOBS and MARGARETH LASECKE

ROBYN and JEFF KELLER

KAREN RUDNICK
Single Traveller through France

Thank you so much for arranging this trip. Everything was so easy and convenient. The connections worked well, and I enjoyed the train travel and the opportunity to see the countryside. The tour guides were knowledgeable and pleasant and the hotels were comfortable, charming and perfectly located within the cities for my needs. The staff was helpful and considerate. My days ran smoothly and there was a good balance between activity and "time out".

The ANTENUCCIS
Family Trip to Italy (Children and Grandparents)

To plan a two week vacation for a family of three generations AND include a wedding in the middle is no easy task - yet you and your team of miracle workers did it, and did it well. You answered my innumerable questions, helped in every aspect of planning, obtained the best train seats for us, and made our visits to the Vatican, the Galleria Borghese and the Uffizzi most pleasant by reserving our tickets ahead of time. Rita, our guide at the Vatican and Barbara, our guide at the Uffizi, were professionals in the best sense of the word.

They were so enthused about their work, were most knowledgeable, and were patient with all of us, especially the children. Silvio Toccafondi, our guide in Tuscany, shared with us his immense knowledge of wine and olive oil making and his intense love for and pride in the land of his birth. He even took us to his home! Our daughters were not disappointed in Gardaland. Again, your help in obtaining information and arranging for a driver made this a most memorable experience for us. We were pleased with our accommodations and the level of service we received in every hotel. The staff at Villa Luppis treated us like family and were immensely helpful, especially on the day of my brother's wedding. The wedding itself was the most beautiful I've ever seen, and the reception was just as lovely. This was a wonderful experience for all of us, filled with memories both sweet and awe-inspiring. Jeff and I fell in love with Italy, not only because of its beauty and history, but also because of the way the Italian people embraced us and made us feel welcome.

This welcome was extended to us by you and your staff from the moment we contacted you and continued right up to the minute we boarded the plane for home. We hae vowed to return, and when we do, we already know who will be helping us plan our journey-YOU, of course! Please know that you have our gratitude and respect as profesionals. I hope that you will feel free to include is in your list of references, as we would recommend you highly to anyone. It was truly a pleasure to meet you and Fabiana at the wedding. You are both in everyone's photo albums already and are known as "the wonderful ladies who helped us all plan everything"" Please keep in touch and thank you so much for everything.

Sincerely, Maryann Antenucci

Thanks for everything. All the hotels you booked at the last minute were wonderful. The wedding couldn't have been more perfect. I didn't dare dream about what it would be like but had I dreamed it would have been a dram come true. My hair and make-up looked outstanding. The hotel was beautiful and the reception meal was the best I had ever tasted.

The ceremony was nice. The photographer was exceptional. I couldn't believe he had most of the pictures ready for me to take home. I was able to display them at our reception here the day after we got back and everyone is still talking about them. The pictures are just incredible and you don't get incredible pictures without an incredible photographer. I do have in mind to write thank you notes and will send them on to you to forward them to the right peopl. Simply said…the wedding was beyond my hopes and dreams. I was so glad we picked Lake Orta. It was exactly what we wanted.

You and your company did a great job.

VICKI and JIM DIBERNARDO
Custom Tour of Italy and Wedding in Venice

I wanted to tell you how perfect everything was and what a fantastic job Ms. Tamara (our coordinator) did. She was wonderful. The harpist did a beautiful job playing our music --you were right the sound of the harp filled the room and singing would not have worked. Also, we so appreciated all the efforts the photographers and videographer went to in order to capture our wedding memories on film and photos. A giant thank you to them as well! Obviously, we are anxious to see them. By the way, the flowers were perfect and looked beautiful. Thank you for all your work on putting together all the arrangements. I really had no idea how beautiful the whole event would be. We were overwhelmed with how flawlessly everything went and wanted to let you know how perfect it was. Believe me, we have been telling everyone to use your company. We are very satisfied with how our wedding and trip wen.

Thank you again!

FRANCIS and GAIL FERRARO
Custom Tour of Italy

Sorry it has taken so long to write back to you. Everything on our trip went extremely well, and the weather was perfect. We arrived in Venice on Friday and spent the first week there; I attended my meetings and, Gail, my wife, explored Venice. On Wednesday, Gail and I went on a boat tour of the lagoon that was sponsored by the Conference I was attending. We visited Murano, Burano, and Torcello islands. Our hotel, the Hotel San Marco was in a perfect location and we highly recommend it to you. It was less than 30 meters off of Piazza San Marco. Every night we stood in the Piazza and listened to three groups of musicians hired by three outdoor cafes. We also attended mass on Sunday in the Basilica San Marco.

The mass was in Italian so we didn't understand what was said, but the music was beautiful. On Friday we began our trip that you arranged, and took the train to Florence. The Hotel Botticelli was fine. I think we got one of the better rooms…it was on the top floor and had a sloped ceiling, much like a furnished attic, only much better than that. It had a lot of character. While it wasn't exactly centrally located, it was within easy walking distance of the entire city. It was close to the Medici Chapel and not far from the Accademia. On Saturday morning we visited the Uffizi and then walked around some and had lunch. Our guide that afternoon, Simone Anichini, was really terrific. He not only gave us a tour, but also insight into what we were seeing. We now know how to tell a medieval building from a renaissance building. We also attended mass in the Duomo, and again it wasn't in English, but the experience was worth it. We decided to try to get into the Accademia before we left for Rome and had no problem getting in. We got there just before they opened the doors and after viewing Michelangelo's Slaves found ourselves at his David. There were no crowds and we spent some time just looking at the David and taking pictures.

That afternoon we took the train to Rome and then a taxi to our hotel. I'm sorry I questioned your choice of hotels. The Olympic was very nice. The only time it rained during our two weeks in Italy, it actually added to the experience. Monday night we had the dinner at Les Etoiles. We arrived just before 7:30 p.m. (we Americans eat much earlier than you do) and the restaurant wasn't ready for us yet so we went up to the rooftop to wait. Just as we got there it started to rain and there was some lightening in the distance towards St. Peter's. Every time the lightening flashed, it illuminated the dome on St. Peter's, providing us with it a show while we waited. When we went downstairs to the restaurant, they seated us at a table right by the window looking at St. Peter's so we could continue to watch the lightening. The weather outside combined with a fantastic meal made for a perfect evening.

The rain even stopped by the time we left the restaurant and walked back to the hotel. On Wednesday, we walked all around Rome, and in the evening we walked over to the Trastevere. We also tried your recommended pizza restaurant, Da Ivo. The pizza was great.. On Thursday we took a bus tour to Assisi that we arranged on Wednesday. We really enjoyed just sitting in the bus on Tuesday and Thursday and seeing the beautiful countryside. Since my name is Francis and I was born on October 4, St. Francis' Feast Day, this trip had special meaning for me. We stopped in Orvieto and then went to Assisi and toured the town and the Cathedral. We also visited the Santa Maria degli Angeli church. We got back to the hotel about 9:30pm this time, and after a quick supper (pizza of course) we went back to the hotel and packed. Our plane left at 7:00 am, and while we were happy to be going home, we were sad to be leaving because everything had gone so well and we had such a great time. You both did a fantastic job. I have already recommended you to two friends who are each going to Italy next summer. Thanks for everything.

JENNIFER and JOE ROBERTS
Wedding in Siena, Italy (Tuscany)

The wedding was awesome! We absolutely cannot believe how wonderful our wedding day went. Silvio was a marvelous host!!! We loved him. He made everything run so smoothly. He was very polite and warm and we thoroughly enjoyed spending our wedding day with him. I really cannot say enough good things about him. The photographer was equally great. He was really funny and I can't wait to see the pictures. We loved Siena! Beatrice had recommended the city originally. It is now probably my favorite city in Europe (granted this may be partially because we got married there).

The room we were supposed to be married in was under renovation so we were able to get married in the room with the "Allegory of Government" fresco. It was a beautiful room and building. The food at Le Logge was spectacular! We heard rave reviews from everyone. The staff at the restaurant was wonderful. They made a very intimate atmosphere for the reception with the candelite dinner and the presentation of each course. Really a marvelous reception. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. My bouquet came out better than I ever could have imagined! Every woman at the ceremony commented on the flowers. Needless to say we really enjoyed our wedding and our trip. Our guests had a great time as well. The Garden hotel and the Villa Scacceapenci were both wonderful. Thanks for helping arrange all of that for us. The day of our wedding was better than we had imagined and it is because of you all that this is true!

Thanks for all of your services. We can't wait to see our pictures!
